I got a nose job, and I look terrible! |

Hi,
I'm eighteen years old and I just got a nose job last week. I look like a monster. I don't understand how this happened. I told the doctor what i wanted, and he operated on me, and i had to wear a cast for a week. And when he took it off, i noticed that my nose looks bigger and abnormal. I look like an alien.
He told me not to worry at all, because i am still very swolen, and what i see now is not the final result of my rhinoplasty and that i have to be patient. But i am really scared, i dont want to look like this. My nose looks abnormal. I wanted it to be thinner and shorter. Oh my god, i don't know what to do now. I know i have to wait, and i guess i'm still swolen but it just doesnt look good. He said that the final result of rhinoplasty can take up to a year. I don't know if thats true or if he's just trying to calm me down. What do i do??? Please help me.
How long will it be swolen for?? How can i speed up the recovery process?
